A luxury Southern Africa safari in Botswana, Victoria Falls, and Zambia

This luxury Southern Africa safari itinerary takes in three classic destinations famed for their epic landscapes and abundant game, but without skimping on style and luxury.

In Botswana, stay on a private concession, where day and night drives allow you to spot a range of wildlife, perhaps even the elusive pangolin. From here, head to the mighty Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and choose from a range of activities ranging from sedate to adrenaline-fuelled, and end your vacation at probably the most luxurious lodge in Zambia. Water-based activities are the order of the day here and include boat trips, canoeing, and fishing, with game drives and walking safaris also on offer.

Highlights

  • This 10-day luxury Southern Africa safari itinerary begins in Maun, Botswana, from where you’ll take an onward light aircraft flight and transfer to the architecturally stunning Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge, set on a private concession near the wildlife-rich Moremi Game Reserve. In addition to day and night game drives, you can go on walks to spot prolific birdlife and take a thrilling helicopter ride to see the Okavango Delta from above
  • Fly to Kasane and transfer across the border to the Stanley & Livingstone Boutique Hotel in Zimbabwe. Take a sunset jet boat river safari that explores smaller channels close to Victoria Falls, and opt in for some adventure: a helicopter or microlight flight over the Falls, a walk with a herd of elephants, a canopy tour through the rainforest, or simply a spot of shopping in town. If water levels are low, we recommend a swim in the Devil's Pool or Angel's Armchair while touring Livingstone Island
  • Take a scenic flight to the spectacular Lower Zambezi National Park, where you’ll stay at the luxurious Sausage Tree Camp. Enjoy privately guided morning and night off-road game drives, nature walks, and water-based safari activities that make the most of the camp's location on the Zambezi River, such as canoe trips in the Chifungulo Channel, and catch and release tiger fishing
  • Return to the airstrip for your flight to Lusaka and onward travel arrangements
