Serian Nkorombo

Serian Nkorombo is a barefoot luxury tented camp located inside the world renowned Maasai Mara. Like Serian Mara it is owned by Alex Walker, a fourth-generation Kenyan, former hunter and highly respected guide.

Between the months of September and October, this mobile camp is in perfect position for the wildebeest migration in the Maasai Mara. While the game viewing during this period is superb with large herds of animals making their trek along ancient migration paths, there is incredible year-round game as well.

At Serian Nkorombo you have front row seats while experiencing exciting game-viewing, as well as the comfort and style of a Serian camp. The mobile camp is positioned to blend unobtrusively into the surrounding vegetation. There are five en-suite “Selous Style” tents with long drop toilets and hot bucket showers, each simply furnished in traditional safari style.

Friendly, experienced staff members see to your every need and the rustic camp becomes an exclusive home in a world-class destination. Open fires, meals under night skies, and coffee in your tent at dawn – this is an incredible way to experience a safari.

Serian Mobile is for those comfortable with being out in the open, with only a tent separating them from big game.

The camp can be very easily be combined with one of the other Serian camps in Kenya or the mobile camp in Tanzania.
