Sand Rivers Selous is located in Southern Tanzania’s Nyerere region, part of the Southwest Circuit, overlooking the Rufiji River. The Nyerere Game Reserve is very remote without many nearby lodges, so this is a very special and exclusive experience. Sand Rivers Selous has five river-facing rooms that are constructed out of stone, wood, and thatch with views over the river. The Nyerere is a year-round destination, except during the months of heavy rains in April and May.
