An enviable location, this boutique hotel is steps away from the vibrant red-roofed market stalls of Analakely and Independence Avenue, and near to the iconic Faravohitra Cathedral, and the Royal Palissandre Hotel. The property dates back to 1879, when the original building was built—which then served as Madagascar’s first bank before a total refurb and reinvention as a hotel. Brick, hardwood floors, stone, arched doorways, and curved staircases ooze charm.
