Ant's Nest and Ant's Hill

Ant’s Hill & Ant’s Nest in the Waterberg region of Limpopo Province, is a destination our guests return to year after year. They love the feeling of being in the private home of exceedingly gracious and interesting hosts. This independently owned and run lodge is situated on the edge of a gorge with views overlooking the surrounding bush.

There is good year-round game viewing at Ants Hill/Nest (excluding elephants and large predators) and the main activities are open-vehicle game drives and horseback safaris. Every day is a new adventure, whether it be walking safaris and bush walks, bush picnics, or participating in a game census. Children are welcome and will have a fabulous time.

Stone and wood rooms are built for comfort, with the quirky design making them a fun home away from home in the bush. The accommodation varies from standard rooms to private cottages – the Hideaway Cottage is a romantic house, with an indoor and outdoor shower, and a private pool. Each house is hosted by a top guide which adds immensely to the experience.
