Discover the Sacred Valley, Inca Trail, Machu Picchu, and Cusco on this luxury Peru tour

This eight-day active Peru tour is the perfect quick trip that packs in many of Peru’s most iconic sites. The Sacred Valley is the home of the Incas, of picturesque Andean towns, agricultural terraces, and archaeological marvels. With time to acclimatize under your belt, you’re ready to set off on the infamous 4-day Inca Trail, the same route constructed by the Incas over 500 years ago. This trek is quite challenging in several sections, with long stretches of stone steps at high elevation. Unlike the Salkantay trek which offers lodges, the Inca trail is camping only. The views, ruins, valleys, history, and nature seen along the way though are well worth it. Machu Picchu is where the trek ends, and this ancient mountaintop city is the perfect reward for your hard work getting there. Cusco is a beautiful town to end your journey, and perfectly blends ancient history with today’s culture.

Who is a luxury Inca Trail trip best for?

Travelers up for a deeper journey into Peru's Incan History, the Inca Trail is an iconic hike through high-altitude mountains and rarely visited Incan ruins. Travelers should be physically capable of completing the four-day hike.
