Meet Beks Ndlovu’s owner of African Bush Camp, Born near Hwange Beks Ndlovu went straight into guiding as soon as he graduated. He guided and ran camps for Wilderness Safaris for years both in Botswana and Zimbabwe and has won many guiding awards.

After his success as a guide, he then took the plunge and started African Bush Camps, a successful portfolio of 16 luxury tented camps in Zimbabwe and Botswana, and a foundation that supports rural communities around conservation areas.

For our upcoming talk with Beks Ndlovu, we are going to open up the conversation to his insights on what it means to be one of the few black safari camp owners, founders, and CEOs in the industry and at the same time leading in conservation debates and actions. How can we change to include more diversity in the leadership of our industry? What does that mean if anything to the impact of the wildlife and conservation industry?
