Dead Valley Lodge is a stylish tented camp located inside Namibia‘s Namib-Naukluft National Park. With its own park entrance, the property is one of the closest lodges to the Sossusvlei Pan. Desert icons like Sossusvlei and Deadvlei are within easy reach of this privileged location.

The Lodge features 20 free-standing luxury tented chalets within an oasis that offers a panoramic view of the Namib Desert. Look upon towering red sand dunes, rugged mountain ranges, and arid desert savannahs. Each suite is climate-controlled and has a private patio, kitchenette, and bathroom stocked with toiletries. Timber, live edge, suede, and rock-hewn accents and architectural elements lend to the rustic-luxe desert feel.

In the shared spaces, guests dine in the gourmet restaurant that serves Namibian-style cuisine. Spend days traveling through the national park in 4×4 vehicles, calling on Deadvlei, Sossusvlei, Big Daddy, Dune 45, Sesriem Canyon, and Hiddenvlei. Along the way, you might spy desert-adapted wildlife like ostrich, springbok and gemsbok. Larger predators include hyena, while bat-eared fox, jackal, porcupine, Cape fox, and aardwolf may reveal themselves after the heat of the day has relented.
