Situated between Franschhoek and Paarl, in the heart of the Cape Winelands, Babylonstoren is a beautiful Farm Hotel with striking Cape Dutch buildings, wide open spaces and farm-to-fork dining. It is truly a masterpiece of idyllic farm life and best-loved for its formally designed garden spanning vegetable areas, stone and pome fruits, nuts, citrus, berries, bees, herbs, ducks, chickens and a prickly pear maze. The oldest buildings date back to the 1600s with white-washed smooth facades and simple Dutch gables. The décor is simple, modern and stylish. The working farm produces fruits, herbs, nuts, olives, wine and vegetables from its fields, and the property is surrounded by orchards, vineyards and imposing mountains. The renowned restaurant utilizes its home-grown produce from the garden in its cuisine and horticulture tours are available for interested guests. This tranquil country paradise is an ideal place for children and families and at the same time a romantic option for couples.

The cottages and suites enjoy garden and vineyard views, and groups of up to ten guests may make exclusive use of the Manor House or family-focused Fynbos Family House.

The Garden Spa, complete with an hot spa, authentic hammam and Rasul chamber offers decadent mud scrubs and deep soaks for the ultimate unwind.
