El Fenn is very hip. It’s Vaness Branson’s hotel so her extensive private collection of works by artists – including, William Kentridge, Fred Pollock and David Shrigley – hang throughout the public spaces and bedrooms at El Fenn. It is located minutes from the world-famous Jemaâ El Fna square and bustling maze of streets that make up the souk.
Escape the heat by relaxing at one of the three pools or take a break from the sun altogether by lounging in one of their hammocks in the shaded courtyard. This atmospheric house is a great escape. The store, which doubles as a restaurant and bar, stocks vintage-style clothes, bags, accessories, jewelry, coffee table books, perfumes, and home accessories from new designers to the best of Fez pottery. Enjoy breakfast on the Rooftop Terrace with views of the Atlas Mountains in the background. In the evening, dinner is served under the stars.
