COVID-19 TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS FOR KENYA:

Fully vaccinated travelers (at least 2 doses/or 1 dose J&J) do not need to present test results on arrival. Vaccination certificates must be presented on arrival and uploaded to the Global Haven website: https://globalhaven.org

Travelers who are not fully vaccinated can enter Kenya with negative PCR test results taken within 72 hours of arrival. Unvaccinated travelers will also be subjected to a rapid test on arrival ($30). PCR results must be uploaded to https://globalhaven.org

Travelers under 5 years old are exempt from all entry requirements.

Kenya’s mask mandate is in effect and applies to all closed or confined spaces such as taxis, aircrafts, offices, supermarkets, and places of worship. Please pack some surgical masks with you so that you are prepared should you need to put one on (especially when touring in Nairobi).

PRIOR TO ARRIVAL IN KENYA:

ALL TRAVELERS MUST SUBMIT A HEALTH SURVEILLANCE FORM: HTTPS://EARS.HEALTH.GO.KE/INTERNATIONAL_REGISTRATION/

Once submitted, you will receive a QR code to present on arrival.

TRAVELERS MUST UPLOAD THEIR VACCINATION CARD:

  • Create an account
  • Click on your email address in the top right and select ‘user profile’
  • Click ‘edit profile’
  • Enter your DOB and Gender and then click ‘save changes’
  • On the left side menu, click Dashboard
  • Click on Upload Vaccine Record
  • Select the country you were vaccinated in
  • Choose “SARS-CoV-2” from the pathogen dropdown
  • Click on Select and Next for your vaccine’s manufacturer
  • For Pfizer Select Comirnaty-2 Shots Profile
  • Enter vaccine info, upload card, and click save and submit
  • A “provisional certificate” and QR code should display for download or print
  • If it does not bring you to the QR code…
  • Under ‘vaccination booklets’ on the left, click ‘self-reported’
  • Use the ‘Actions’ drop down and select ‘vaccination certificate’

UNVACCINATED TRAVELERS MUST UPLOAD PCR RESULTS:

  • Create an account
  • On the left side menu select Check In
  • Select your departure country, choose Kenya for destination country
  • Under where you took your test and select at any other lab
  • Skip lab selection, type lab name & country, leave lab email blank
  • Upload your results, select type of test and result from dropdown
  • Enter flight details and submit
  • QR code will be generated to present on arrival
  • The code remains accessible under check in > check in history
