The places that pull us back

Explore our team’s favorite destinations. Not the entire map, but a handful of places we love returning to.

A stone chorten stands in an open valley with a grazing yak and pine-clad mountains beyond.

Bumthang

Bumthang unfurls like an elaborate thangka painting depicting breathtaking landscapes, ancient monasteries, profound spirituality, and rich cultural heritage.

The Gasa Dzong fortress with white walls and a red tiered roof sits high in a green Bhutanese valley.

Gasa

Gasa is a remote district in northwestern Bhutan bordering Tibet to the north and Thimphu and Punakha to the south.

A white-walled Bhutanese dzong with a red tiered roof sits on a steep green forested hillside.

Haa Valley

Despite its day-trip proximity to Paro, the Haa Valley is one of Bhutan’s most isolated and scenic regions.

The Tiger's Nest monastery clings to a sheer cliff face above a dense pine forest in Paro.

Paro

If you could only visit one place in Bhutan, it should be postcard-pretty Paro. Paro is Bhutan; a microcosm of everything the Kingdom has to experience.
