Day 1: Explore Auckland

With its twin harbors, volcanic cones, and multicultural energy, Auckland is a natural starting point for your multi-generational family trip to Australia and New Zealand. Touch down and enjoy a private car transfer to the centrally located JW Marriott. Spend the afternoon exploring the harborfront, hopping on a scenic ferry ride to get a view of the city skyline from the water, or tucking into fish and chips.

Stop by Lake Ferry Hotel after for their famous fish and chips served alongside views of the water. Later that afternoon, choose between a thrilling ATV adventure over black sand beaches or opt to unwind with a sommelier-led wine tasting

Day 8: A Night in Adelaide

Today, you’ll leave New Zealand and embark on an Australian adventure. Arrive in Adelaide, South Australia’s pretty, laid-back capital city known for its wine, art, and public gardens. Spend one night in style at the Sofitel Adelaide. The afternoon is your oyster: Stroll the botanic gardens, check out the vibrant Central Market, or relax over a French-inspired dinner at the hotel.

Day 9: Kangaroo Island Bound

A short flight from Adelaide brings you to Kangaroo Island, often touted as Australia’s Galapagos for its incredible biodiversity and wild landscape. Check into your contemporary oceanfront villa where home-cooked meals and immersive private touring designed specifically for families awaits. As dusk descends, get your first glimpse of the Kangaroo Island wildlife while watching the island’s namesake creatures hop around the property with a pre-dinner cocktail in hand.

Day 12: Celebrate in Sydney

Days 13 to 14: Waterfalls & Wine 

Your first full day in the Australian capital is all about iconic Sydney experiences. Start the morning with Bondi Beach surf lessons for the adrenaline seekers, while the rest of the group can opt for a relaxing beach walk. That evening, enjoy a performance at the Sydney Opera House. Awake the next morning and set out on a full-day private tour through national parks and along coastal roads.
