Surrender to awe in southern Patagonia's most iconic national park
This icy wonderland is best known for the spectacular Perito Moreno Glacier—a massive, shifting ice cap composed of dozens of smaller glaciers. Los Glaciares may be the main draw card here, but El Calafate has plenty of its own charms; it’s a fun, scenic destination offering a host of outdoor and adventure activities.

We suggest visiting El Calafate between October and April. The national park will be quite crowded during the peak months (December – February), so we recommend visiting during the shoulder season months of October, November, March, and April for good weather and fewer people.

A braid of 250 waterfalls plummeting over towering basalt cliffs, Iguazú Falls is one of South America’s most breathtaking natural landmarks.

A vast natural wonder visible from space, the Amazon Delta needs no introduction. Shared by eight countries, Brazil claims the lion’s share and contains pockets so remote they’ve never been explored.
