I’m drawn to the world’s wild corners for the type of travel that renews each morning with a sense of discovery. Who will I meet? What new food will I eat? What adventure can I earn? I love wildlife photography, am an accidental birder, appreciate both sleeping under canvas and grand, storied hotels, and I prefer my sand in the desert. When I’m not traveling, you’ll find me at the gym or driving one of my three boys to hockey practice. I'm the former editor-in-chief of Canadian Traveller magazine, and my work has been published by Explore, British Columbia Magazine, and Gateways.
