That’s why we’re launching The Gift of Travel, our new sweepstakes for current and past Extraordinary Journeys travelers. Every time you refer someone to us from now through May 1, 2027, you improve your chances of winning another extraordinary journey: nine days in Botswana's Okavango Delta for two.
How it works:
For every friend you refer to Extraordinary Journeys, you'll be entered into the drawing. The further they go toward booking a trip with us, the more chances you'll have to win. Here's how the entry system works:
- 1 entry for sending our magazine to a friend via the form at the bottom of this page.
- 2 entries if a friend inquires about a trip and mentions your name (once they mention you, we'll send you an email to confirm your entries).
- 10 entries if your friend books with us (once they book, we'll send you another note to confirm your entries). As always, you'll also receive a $250 credit through our referral program.
We'll draw one winner from all entries on May 15, 2027. The winner will receive a trip for two to Botswana's Okavango Delta, including superior accommodations, all meals and drinks, transfers (via bush plane, helicopter, and boat) within Botswana, and round-the-clock support from our concierge team.
Winners can travel anytime between November 1–December 15, 2027, or January 11–April 30, 2028, subject to availability. Terms and conditions apply.

Four nights at a Wilderness Safaris classic-level camp
Begin your journey in the Okavango Delta at your choice of a Wilderness Safaris classic-level camp, enjoying day and night game drives. We will work with you to choose the best camp for your travel dates and interests.
Two nights at Okavango Explorers Camp
Set in a remote part of the private Selinda Reserve, this camp is made up of a handful of expedition-style canvas tents on raised decking, each with sweeping views and a vintage feel that recalls 1920s exploration.
Two nights at Sitatunga Private Island
Your trip ends with a scenic helicopter flight to Sitatunga, where the water is the main event. Boat trips cover the open lagoons, and mokoro canoes take you into the narrower channels when water levels allow.
