Ponta Mamoli Travel

Ponta Mamoli is a secluded beach area in southern Mozambique, just 16 miles from the border of South Africa. White Pearl, our favorite property in this area, is set on a private white sand beach characterized by big crashing waves.

The big draw of the area is its proximity to the border with South Africa, meaning it is accessible by road (most commonly from the KwaZulu-Natal safari camps) or by air through Mozambique’s capital, Maputo. Like the rest of southern Mozambique, the hottest and wettest time to visit is January to March and properties can be more crowded with South African travelers during their peak vacation months of December, January, over Easter, and in July.

The beach is really wild; on one side are lush green hills, and in front of you are crashing ocean waves. The beach goes on for miles and you can walk forever.
