Northern Territory Travel

Australia‘s Northern Territory is remote and seemingly untraveled – the ultimate off-the-beaten-path experience.

Vast red desert landscapes give way to ancient gorges, thundering waterfalls, and wetlands teeming with wildlife, all largely untouched by the modern world. Here, the land has been shaped over 65,000 years by Aboriginal culture (the oldest living culture on Earth), making every journey feel like a profound encounter with time.

Why visit the Northern Territory?

  • 1

The largest city in the Tropical North is the port town of Darwin on the Timor Sea just south of Indonesia. This is the jumping-off place for Bamurru Plains (where you will do your wildlife viewing by airboat), remote Davidson’s Arnhemland with the best collection of Aboriginal rock art in Australia, the remarkable canyons and rivers at Catherine Gorge, and the beautiful lagoons and canyons at Kakadu Canyon.
