Windhoek, Namibia‘s capital city, is located in a basin between the Khomas Highlands and the Auas and Eros mountains.

It is a small (but pretty!) city with only 325,000 inhabitants. One of the most remarkable features of Windhoek is the mountainous and hilly landscape that encircles the city. Standing 5,428 ft. above sea level, these peaks create breathtaking views. Our clients most often only spend one night in Windhoek at the beginning or end of a Namibia itinerary.
