Once on Praslin, you can easily spend days exploring the smaller islands of La Digue, Curieuse, St Pierre, Cousine, Coco and Sister Islands. Spend a day island hopping and snorkeling with traditional Creole lunch set up on the beach.

It's easy to get to Praslin from Mahe: just 15 minutes by air, or an hour by boat. The ferry can be rough between May and September so it's not ideal for those who get seasick, but it is a great way to get a taste of local life.
