Day 1: Welcome to India 

Arrive in Delhi, where a VIP airport escort meets you at the jetway and ushers your family smoothly through arrivals. A private driver transfers you to JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity. After a long travel day, settle into plush linens and restorative calm.

Srinagar 

Day 2: Arrival in Srinagar 

Fly north to Srinagar, continuing to Qayaam Gah, a serene hideaway perched above Dal Lake with sweeping Himalayan views. Unwind with a traditional sunset high tea accompanied by soulful Sufi music, followed by dinner showcasing refined Kashmiri cuisine.

Day 6: High Passes and Monasteries 

Journey east toward Nimmoo, passing the carved Future Buddha of Mulbekh, ancient monasteries, and the high-altitude passes of Namki La and Fotu La. Visit Lamayuru Monastery, stop in Khaltse for lunch, then continue toward Leh for dinner and a cozy bonfire evening

Trade metalwork for adventure as you raft the Zanskar River, navigating narrow canyons to its confluence with the Indus. After a special meal at Alchi Kitchen, visit the Alchi Temple Complex, famed for its Kashmiri-style murals.

Day 8: Discovering Leh 

Transfer to Leh and settle into Dolkhar Lodge, blending Ladakhi craftsmanship with contemporary design. Explore Leh’s old city, with visits tailored to your family’s interests—perhaps Leh Palace, LAMO, or Shesrig Ladakh. In the evening, enjoy a curated tasting menu at Tsas, highlighting Ladakh’s evolving cuisine.

Day 9: Art, Food, and Leisure 

After a relaxed breakfast, join a LENA workshop or tour its creative studio to learn about Ladakhi artistry. Later, savor a riverside BBQ picnic along the Indus. The afternoon is yours—rest, explore independently, or visit Hemis Monastery. Evening is unhurried and reflective.

Day 10: Crossing Khardung La 

Drive across legendary Khardung La Pass into the dramatic landscapes of Nubra Valley. Enjoy lunch hosted at a 400-year-old home with the Women’s Alliance, supporting rural women’s initiatives. Continue to The Kyagar, your tranquil boutique retreat, with time to relax or wander toward the Shyok River

Day 11: Sacred Lakes and Desert Landscapes 

Begin with optional sunrise yoga, then hike to the sacred waters of Lohan Tso. Visit Ensa Monastery for a peaceful picnic, followed by the Murgi petroglyphs, Ladakh’s largest collection of ancient carvings. Day 12: Balti Culture and Cuisine
