One trip, three incredible Kenyan landscapes
Kenya is justifiably famous for its diverse ecosystems, and this itinerary visits three very different yet dramatic regions. Visit the forests of Meru National Park to the east; the plains, hills, and mountains of the Laikipia Plateau to the north; and the seemingly endless savanna of the Maasai Mara to the south.
On game drives through these distinct landscapes, you’ll encounter an extraordinary range of wildlife. The traditional Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino) are common, as are hundreds of adapted bird species only found north of the Equator. In Loisaba Conservancy (Laikipia), you'll spy some of the Northern Five, too—such as Grevy's zebra.
All but one of the tented camps included in this luxury Kenya itinerary are set in private conservancies. This means you're permitted to go on bush walks and night game drives, and drive off-road. Don't miss the chance to enjoy a unique safari experience such as a camel trek, horse safari, a local village visit, or a star bed sleep-out.
