This 10-day itinerary includes the capital city of Santiago and the quaint mountain town of Pucon, located in the Araucania Region.
The adventure begins in Santiago, Chile's metropolitan capital with views to the mountains in any direction you look. Accompanied by a private guide, spend your day exploring Santiago's history, art, gastronomy, and architecture with a city tour that will take you to the most iconic sites and markets. Cap off the day with a fresh and icy pisco sour, or a glass of hearty Chilean Carménère.
Fly south to Temuco, the gateway to Chile's Lake District. With a landscape dominated by lakes, mountains, volcanoes, and ancient old-growth forests, this region is an adventure-lovers paradise, but can also be enjoyed at a slower pace. Spend your days exploring the numerous national parks, bathing in thermal hot springs, and swimming in pristine lakes and rivers. The Lake District is a melting pot of indigenous, Spanish, and German influences making it a gastronomy highlight of Chile.
