DAY 1-3: Cape Town
Arrive in Cape Town, explore More Quarters Apartments
Welcome to South Africa! Upon arrival in Cape Town, you will be met by an Extraordinary Journeys representative and transferred to More Quarters boutique hotel in a beautiful residential local neighborhood. During your three night stay, there is much to see and do, and shops, attractions and restaurants at your doorstep. Your first afternoon would be a great time to head up to Table Mountain for the views! The next day you can take a Cape Peninsula tour and stop at Cape Point and Chapman’s Peak. Day three you’ll visit Kalk Bay, Simon’s Town, and Boulders Penguin Colony.
DAYS 4-7: Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve
Transfers by plane to Skukuza Airport, then transfer to Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Cape Town Airport for your flight to Skukuza Airport, located in Kruger National Park (flight priced separately). On arrival, you will be met and transferred to Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge for three nights on a Big Five wildlife safari. The lodge is located in the south western sector of the 65,000 hectare Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. Experience close encounters and prolific sightings, particularly of the elusive leopard. The Sabi and the Sand Rivers run through the reserve, which add further dimension to the bio-diversity of this area.
DAY 8: Fly home
Today, you will be transferred to Skukuza Airport in time for your flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival, connect on your international flights home. Say goodbye to Africa, for now!

- Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve shares an unfenced border with Kruger National Park and is named for the Sabi and Sand Rivers which flow through it. The rivers support a tremendous diversity of wildlife and provide a scenic backdrop to some of the best game viewing in Africa. The characteristic species of the Sabi Sands are impala, greater kudu, giraffe, buffalo, lion, and leopard. Sightings of lion prides are the order of the day here. Open-water channels and pools are favored by hippo while buffalo and elephant are drawn to the reeds. The riverine forest is green all year round and is the haunt of leopard, greater bush baby (galago), and bushbuck.
