Highlights

  • Cape Town is a sophisticated city with lots to see and do. The city, which faces north across Table Bay, has thrived from its birth, first as a Dutch settlement in 1652 when Jan van Ribeeck established it as a supply station for ships of the Dutch East India Company, and later, under the British as a port supplying ships with food and fresh water from the perennial mountain streams. Work up an appetite for Cape Town’s world-class restaurants with a tour of Robben Island (where Nelson Mandela spent 18 of his 27 years in prison), a drive to the Cape of Good Hope, or a ride up Table Mountain in a cable car.
  • More Quarters converted heritage townhouses and Redcliffe House offers you all the spoils of five-star hospitality and the privacy of individual accommodations. With entrances onto a cobbled lane adjoining the main hotel, they create the feel of a secluded quarter in the suburb. But around the corner, the cafés, wine bars, boutiques, and interior design shops of Kloof Street are giving Gardens – one of Cape Town’s oldest and most sophisticated neighborhoods – a fresh buzz. From your home for the holiday, it is for you to decide how much or little to do…
  • Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve shares an unfenced border with Kruger National Park and is named for the Sabi and Sand Rivers which flow through it. The rivers support a tremendous diversity of wildlife and provide a scenic backdrop to some of the best game viewing in Africa. The characteristic species of the Sabi Sands are impala, greater kudu, giraffe, buffalo, lion, and leopard. Sightings of lion prides are the order of the day here. Open-water channels and pools are favored by hippo while buffalo and elephant are drawn to the reeds. The riverine forest is green all year round and is the haunt of leopard, greater bush baby (galago), and bushbuck.
  • Deep in the bushveld overlooking a waterhole and an open plain, lies a lodge that pulses to the rhythm of Africa’s heartbeat. Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge has earned a reputation as a “luxury home in the bush”, service excellence, personalized attention and offers an unrivaled five-star family safari.
