Victoria Falls Safari Lodge

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is a rather large lodge that faces the Zambezi National Park to the west and is just 2.5 miles from Victoria Falls. It’s set high on a natural plateau so the sunsets and views from the lodge are incredible. The on-site waterhole attracts resident game for game-viewing from each suite’s private balcony. After you’re done relaxing at the pool, the Activities Desk will help schedule excursions to the Falls or nearby wildlife activities. In this area you can do all sorts of activities from a relaxing canoe ride on the river to a peaceful sunset cruise, or get your heart racing with an exciting elephant back experience or bungee jumping! And if you want to see the falls from an incredibly breathtaking perspective, try a microlight or helicopter ride. There’s also a complimentary shuttle to the Falls that leaves hourly if you’re looking for an independent excursion.

The lodge itself consists of 72 en-suite bedrooms with private decks. The rooms are nice and the service is good for being such a large property. The most recent addition to the lodge are their four 2-bedroom Safari Suites and two 3-bedroom Safari Suites. The Safari Suites are excellent for families or couples traveling together. Both layouts feature a master bedroom upstairs, one or two bedrooms downstairs, en-suite bathrooms for each bedroom, spacious lounges, and air conditioning. The property as a whole is really ideal for families (they even have babysitting services!) or people trying to save some money while they visit the Falls as it is a good value for money option. It has all of the amenities that you would need, the location is great, and it offers a number of fun activities in the area.
