Tena Tena

In the northern region of South Luangwa, in the Nsefu sector, lies Robin Pope’s flagship camp, Tena Tena. It offers accommodation with character in an exclusive, game-rich area. This is our favorite camp in the Robin Pope Safari collection.

Tents are privately situated amongst thick trees on the river or lagoon. Tents are stylishly decorated with woven throws and Persian Rugs and they each boast large outdoors bathrooms. The main areas are romantic and elegant with an elevated deck overlooking the lagoon.

Tena Tena has riverine vegetation and clay plains in addition to lagoons, attracting a variety of birds and animals to its backyard. Activities include walking, game drives and night drives. If you book Tena Tena with Nsefu, you can walk between the two camps.

Tena Tena is accessed via a 1.5-hour scenic game drive from Mfuwe Airport.
