Ngala Safari Lodge
Ngala Safari Lodge, &Beyond’s Ngala Safari Lodge in the Timbavati is a well-run, friendly lodge in an exclusive location.
It has 20 rooms which are classically decorated but feel a bit dark as they are nestled within the woodland trees. Meals are served in the courtyard – again more of a hotel impression than a game lodge – and the lodge seems to be lacking the sense of adventure experienced at being in the bush.
The game viewing in the Timbavati is good throughout the year and in terms of location, Ngala is spot on, but the size of the property is off-putting and needs to be considered when booking.
