Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge

Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge sits on the edge of the Volcanoes National Park, a short drive from the park entrance where gorilla treks begin. The lodge is definitely the most luxurious option in this area, offering 6 cottages and 2 suites all with private verandas, en-suite bathrooms, and sitting rooms with fireplaces.

With spectacular views from its elevated position, we think this lodge provides the perfect atmosphere to relax after a day of trekking. We love how Sabyinyo puts money back into the local community for economic development and conservation. The only downside has been that their food has been a bit hit or miss in the past.
