Little Ongava
The lodge is extremely intimate, with just three villas, accommodating only six guests. Each villa has large, stunning rooms with an en-suite bathroom, outdoor shower, and private pool. They are absolutely massive and beautifully decorated. The main Ongava camp is nearby, so you may spot one of their vehicles, but otherwise, you feel completely isolated.
We think this is the perfect place to stay for a luxury or romantic getaway, especially as you will have a private vehicle for the duration of your stay. However, this level of luxury does come at great cost. The downsides to Little Ongava are that the communal areas are small and not conducive to socializing with other guests and that the property is spread out and hilly, so it’s not great for anyone with mobility issues.
