Kwara Camp is the place for serious game seekers – for guests not afraid to sacrifice ultimate luxury, including internet and cell phone communication, for the sake of a “real” safari.
The Kwando Concession is an excellent area for game viewing and activities like day and night game drives, mokoro excursions, boat trips, bush walks, and fishing.
One of the few lodges in the Delta owned and run by locals, Kwara doesn’t always reach the accommodation and service standards set by some competing lodges. While there are some tradeoffs to staying at Kwara, travelers who put wildlife as their top priority will enjoy the camp. You will be pleased as the rangers will happily take you out for extended game drives, and the lack of elegance won’t matter.
Kwara is an excellent option if you are active and want access to one of the best concession in Botswana without paying the high price tag of Vumbura Plains.
