Zarafa, the ultimate in a classic luxury camp, is set in the Selinda Concession of the Linyanti/Selinda area. Zarafa offers excellent game viewing, luxurious accommodation, and outstanding service. This is without a doubt one of the best luxury options available in Botswana along with Mombo, Little Mombo and Abu Camp in the Okavango Delta.

Reminiscent of explorer expeditions, the camp is a beautifully appointed masterpiece, as comfortable and welcoming as it is luxurious. Spacious, campaign-style canvas rooms enjoy gorgeous views over the water and have plenty of cozy areas to relax and watch the wildlife. There are so many little touches that make this camp special but some of our favorites are the Swarovski binoculars and cameras with zoom lenses for you to use on your safari activities. They make a major difference in your experience.

Staff members are highly attentive without being intrusive and the food is excellent. We’ve been impressed with the camp’s ability to be luxurious, laid back and warm all at once. But this is still very much a wildlife experience and no one should come here expecting everything to be completely flawless.

Overall, we are big fans of Zarafa and we particularly like to pair it with Mombo or Little Mombo for an ultimate experience.
