Non-Profit Visit on Safari
Unless you have a specific skill set that an organization has requested, or want to stay for more than a month, we do not generally recommend that our travelers volunteer as part of their safari. We do, however, encourage travelers to spend a day or half-day visiting one of the organizations we work with during their trip. We hope our travelers will view the non-profit visit on safari as the beginning of a long-term relationship with the organization and the community once they have seen it firsthand. Extraordinary Journeys has strong relationships with multiple non-profits in each of the countries where we operate, such as Jifundishe in Tanzania or Uthando in South Africa, that happily welcome visitors. If visiting one of the organizations we support interests you, or if you want to visit an organization that you are already involved with, please let us know and we will build it in to your itinerary.
