Zungulila Bushcamp
Zungulila is based in South Luangwa National Park and operates from mid-April to the beginning of January. When arriving late into the park on an evening flight, we recommend you overnight at Mfuwe or Chinzombo before traveling into the more remote regions of the South Luangwa National Park to Zungulila.
This intimate camp accommodates eight guests in luxurious safari tents each with their own private pools, bamboo verandahs, and outside showers. The style has a little old fashioned safari feel with the canvas walls and the Persian rugs.
After a day on safari, sit around the boma’s open camp fire sipping sundowners or enjoying the stunning views of the Kapamba River and the plains which attract resident wildlife. The area is abundant in big game and a variety of bird life. We love the fact that you have the option to enjoy sundowners in the river and meals under a star-studded sky.
We like this camp for its remote setting and tasteful accommodation.
