Singita Mara River
Singita Mara River is in the Northern Serengeti in the Lamai region overlooking the Mara River. During the months of June to October, this part of Tanzania comes alive with the annual animal migration. If you’re lucky, you will witness a river-crossing as the massive herds make their way north into Kenya’s Maasai Mara. Even after the migration has passed, game-viewing is still good in the reserve. However, during the heavy rains of March and April, this camp is closed.
True to its name, Mara River is another beautiful Singita property with gorgeous rooms and light and contemporary décor with African influences. There are four 1-bedroom en-suite tents, as well as two family tents. Each tent has an outdoor bathroom with views from the bath. The main areas offer plenty of space to relax and mingle or to take advantage of the magnificent views; it is both comfortable and elegant.
This property is suitable for families, honeymooners and anyone else looking for superior service and quality, as well as excellent game-viewing in a top safari destination. Guests should be aware that this is one of the only Singita properties without air conditioning.
