Sabi Sabi Selati Camp
Sabi Sabi Selati Camp in the Sabi Sands is themed on the historical Selati railroad, which ran throughout South Africa.
Updated colonial-style rooms and interesting memorabilia are dotted throughout the camp, so you have the sense you have stepped back in time to an era of the hunters, the gold rush, and the man-eating lions of the Selati Railways.
The camp enjoys wonderful views over the pan, and the common rooms are inviting spaces for guests to relax, sip sundowners and enjoy great meals and good company. The warm vibe, friendly management, and peaceful atmosphere make this a truly remarkable experience. Game drives in the Sabi Sands are superb, and there is no doubt that this is Big Five territory.
The suites are classic and pretty but they don’t have any verandahs to sit outdoors, which is a pity. Lighting is by kerosene lantern.
Selati is one of the more interesting camps around and the atmosphere is very charming. It is a good value for money lodge and a great spot for honeymooners and families.
