Tucked away in a tranquil garden in Medellín’s El Poblado district, Patio del Mundo is a beautiful, modern boutique hotel that’s a little oasis in the middle of the bustling city. With just thirteen rooms made up of two charming villas that were recently renovated and restored by a French family—Agnes, Christine, and José-Luis.
Each room is tastefully decorated, inspired by destinations from around the world including India and Bali. The rooms vary slightly in size and have a coffee station, safe, and fan. Some have private patios, hammocks, and private jacuzzis. Truly an oasis of serenity and well-being.
The secluded garden, full of lush tropical plants including mango trees and orchids, with an enchanting view, makes you feel worlds away from the busy city. In the morning, enjoy a fresh breakfast, including seasonal fruits, made-to-order eggs, crepes, homemade pastries, and a cup of the best local Colombian coffee, served on the garden’s terrace. Follow the short stone path into the garden that leads to a deck where you’ll find a jacuzzi and loungers to relax after a long day out.
Nestled in the El Poblado Provenza neighborhood, it’s close to bars, restaurants, boutiques, museums, and parks, with easy access to the International Airport (just 35 minutes away).
