MV Origin & Theory
Origin & Theory are the only vessels in the Galapagos Islands to be accepted as a member of the esteemed Relais & Châteaux collection, joining a distinguished group of hoteliers, chefs, and restaurateurs that have set the standard for excellence in hospitality.
The identical sister ships run side by side and operate two comprehensive seven-night itineraries, departing every Sunday and visiting the spectacular outer islands of the Galapagos archipelago. They are 20-passenger custom-built vessels with cabins featuring amenities such as memory foam pillows, a safety deposit box, a flat-screen TV, a universal docking station, and an espresso machine. Free Wi-Fi is also available throughout.
The yachts feature an elegant dining room where guests can enjoy delicious cuisine creatively prepared by expert chefs using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. During the week, guests will be delighted by a cooking demonstration and BBQ lunch served al fresco on the spacious sundeck. Guests can also relax in the Jacuzzi hot tub or work up a sweat in the fitness center equipped with a treadmill, elliptical, free weights, and yoga mats. The yachts also feature an indoor bar serving specialty cocktails, wine, beer, sodas, juices, coffee, and tea.
