Motswiri Camp

In the secluded Selinda South Concession you will find Motswiri Camp. Initially considered a horseback riding-focused camp, this family-owned property has evolved over the years to become a mixed-activity, soft adventure camp that offers something for everyone.

Motswiri Camp has five charming tents overlooking the Selinda spillway, which links the Okavango and Kwando-Linyanti floodplains. The comfortable main areas include a plunge pool and a viewing platform with a clear vista of a popular elephant pool.

Mostly a land camp, a nearby watercourse fills between May and September when canoeing and mokoro excursions are offered – in addition to the usual bush walks and game drives. Motswiri operates five- and seven-day horseback safaris with well-schooled horses comfortable in big game territory. The horseback safaris operate year-round but are exceptional between August and October. They also offer a fabulous three-day walking safari.

The diverse vegetation, spillway, riverine, forest, and plains make this landscape attractive to a variety of birds and game such as tsessebe, roan, sable, zebra, giraffe, lion, leopard, wild dog cheetah and elephant.

Motswiri is great for riding enthusiasts and active travelers. We also think that it is a solid option for families.
