Morukuru Farm House
Morukuru Farm House, The Farm House is a 5-bedroom exclusive-use “bush home” perfect for families. The House is set on 75,000 hectares of Madikwe’s private, malaria-free wildlife concession which is one of South Africa’s largest Big 5 game reserves. Its extensive grass plains are home to not just the Big 5, but also the African Wild Dog, Cheetah and a large selection of plains game, as well as over 340 species of birds.
The Farm House really does feel like a beautiful, modern home all your own – complete with riverside views and 100-hectares of fenced-in luscious green lawns, so kids (and adults alike) can play and roam free.
During your stay, you’ll have use excusive-use of the House’s babysitting services, private chef, butler, vehicle, and guide, plus a swimming pool for up to 10 guests. Because the Farm House has been designed as your personal getaway, all activities are tailormade to your preference, with no fixed time schedules. You and your guide will craft each day according to your wishes, whether that be exploring on game drives, bird-watching, fishing, romantic starlit sleep-outs in the hide, bush breakfasts and lunches or special candle-lit dinners under the stars. If walking is more your pace, we can arrange guided game walks. Any kids with you can enjoy the specially designed fun outdoor mini-adventure options available.
