Mahua Kothi Jungle Lodge
Mahui Kothi Jungle Lodge, located just 10 minutes from Bandhavgarh National Park’s main gate, is a charming former homestead surrounded by 12 kutiya suites. The traditional gardens and unique artifacts give this property a very homey feel. The kutiyas are air conditioned with private courtyards and the lodge pool offers a lovely refuge during the warmer months from October through April.
The grounds are quite expansive and the bikes parked outside of your kutiya make exploring them easy and fun. Your twice daily game drives in Bandhavgarh are exhilarating as the likelihood of spotting a majestic tiger is high. Your morning game drive will include a full picnic breakfast and your evening game drive will hopefully witness some predator sightings as they prepare for their evening hunt.
Mahui Kothi offers some nice activities to get out and about on foot; exploring the buffer area around the park with a naturalist guide, visiting a local community, and witnessing a vibrant local farmers market. During your game drives, be sure to take a detour to the Bandhavgarh Forts to see a 2000 year old fort and 10th century statue of Lord Vishnu.
