Little Chem Chem

Little Chem Chem is situated in the private concession of Burunge Wildlife Management Area, which lies between Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara. Chem Chem has done excellent conservation work by purchasing the hunting licenses in the corridor between Manyara and Tarangire, making it safe for wildlife to roam freely.

The landscape surrounding Little Chem Chem is astounding. The camp sits on the edge of an acacia forest overlooking Lake Burunge. To the northeast you can see the hills of Tarangire while the southwest offers views of the Babati mountain range. Throughout this amazing landscape you will find a plethora of wildlife: lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, antelope, and abundant birdlife. Activities in the area include game drives, night drives, animal tracking, photographic safaris, anti-poaching activities, hot air balloon rides, and helicopter trips.

With only 5 tents, Little Chem Chem is very intimate. The tents are elegantly and authentically decorated. They are spacious with en-suite bathrooms and flushing toilets. Each tent also has its own private firepit, a perfect way to end your day with your loved ones.
