Lemala Mara
Lemala Mara is a mobile seasonal camp, open July to October when the annual animal migration passes through the Northern Serengeti. Situated alongside the Mara River near two of the biggest crossing points, you can be lucky enough to witness a river crossing, one of the most spectacular wildlife sightings on Earth, from the comfort of the camp. Game drives are led by experienced rangers who take you close to the action, away from the crowds, and off-road inside the park in an open 4×4 vehicle.
Set beneath cool trees, this intimate camp is positioned in one of the most remote areas of the Serengeti. Twelve canvas tents are spacious and comfortably furnished. The main areas boast luxury with chandeliers and leather sofas in the living and dining rooms. The campfire is the perfect place for guests to come together to share stories and a sundowner to end their day on safari. The staff here is very attentive and you will always be well looked after.
During the months from December to March, Lemala Mara migrates south to the Ngorongoro Conservation area in the Southern Serengeti to become the Lemala Ndutu mobile camp.
