La Maison Arabe

Opened in 1946, La Maison Arabe was one of the first hotels in Marrakech‘s medina. It was also one of the first hotels in Morocco with a well-known restaurant attached to it. The Marrakechi cuisine here is truly amazing. We definitely recommend it, even if you don’t stay at La Maison Arabe – lunch alone is worth the trip. We also highly recommend the traditional hammam here.

The rooms, most with private terraces and fireplaces, face the restaurants and gardens. La Maison Arabe feels much more open than other riads, which can feel a little enclosed at times. Some of the best golf courses are only a few minutes away. The second pool, located at their Country Club, is 15 min away by complimentary shuttle. The medina, which is readily accessible, does not need a guide to navigate so shop the souks to your heart’s content.
