Kapamba Bushcamp

Located in the southern sector of the South Luangwa National Park, Kapamba Bushcamp is a fourhour game drive transfer from Mfuwe Airport. Being quite far into the park, it may be necessary to overnight at Mfuwe if you arrive on a late flight.

Airy, open-fronted rooms are tastefully decorated and contain plunge pools, massive baths, and verandahs overlooking the shallow Kapamba River. The extensive common areas provide plenty of inviting spaces for you to unwind and relish being in this spectacular national park. During the hot months, the plunge pools are quite a luxury and would make us pick Kapamba over Bilimungi, Chindene and Chamilungu.

Kapamba Bushcamp is mainly for walking, but day and night drives are also on offer and the area affords excellent game viewing with sightings of big cats, elephant, hippo, wild dog, and a variety of antelope and birds.

Kapamba Bushcamp is open from mid-April to the beginning of January and accommodates eight guests in stylish stone chalets.
