Crocodile Camp

Situated in the northern sector of South Luangwa, Crocodile Camp is part of the Remote Africa portfolio and is one of their two walking safari destinations that offers an authentic camping experience in its own area.

This camp is down to earth with a friendly vibe. Accommodating a maximum of six people, the simple tents are positioned under a lovely canopy of trees which keeps the camp cool in the summer months.

This is the type of real bush camp experience you rarely get anymore. Evenings are spent around open camp fires and dinner is served under the stars before you head to bed for an early night. The staff and guide quickly become part of your family.

We like that they have attached some nice touches – such as hammocks – which allow you to relax after your walks and appreciate the peace and tranquility of this isolated site.

Crocodile Camp has no roads, so this is all about peace, quiet, and being close to nature. This is the place if you are looking for a serious walking safari.
