Similar to its sister property in the Atacama, Awasi Patagonia is a firm favorite of ours for its luxury, small size and the fact that private excursions and guides are standard.

Awasi Patagonia is one of the smallest in the area with only 12 secluded villas. The 12 villas are located between 50 and 400 meters from the main lodge, ensuring total privacy. Each villa offers views of the forest, Lake Sarmiento and the Torres del Paine and is allocated its own guide and vehicle, allowing guests to explore the magnificent countryside at their own pace. At the end of the day, return to the warm and cozy main lodge for dinner and drinks. Inspired in the old Patagonian shelters and estate “outposts,” Awasi Patagonia’s villas and main area are constructed with native woods, allowing the structures to blend in with their natural surroundings.

Awasi sits just outside the Torres del Paine National Park boundary in a private area twenty minutes from the park gate. A thick native forest of lenga and ñirre trees protects the property from the strong Patagonian winds. While it takes a little extra time to get into the park from Awasi Patagonia, given how busy the park can be in peak season, it is nice to have the option to retreat to this stunning private area.

Excursions at Awasi include horseback riding, walking, biking or exploring Torres del Paine by 4 x 4 vehicles. Guests are also encouraged to explore Awasi’s private reserve.
