Awasi is situated inside a historic wall, which for years housed shepherds and herders. It is just a stone’s throw from the center of the town of San Pedro de Atacama, and you can easily visit the church, the museum, and shops, and mingle with residents. Inside Awasi Atacama’s walls are just twelve rooms built of stone, adobe, and wood, with thatched roofs. Each is large and comfortable and designed for relaxation and privacy. The food and service are excellent, as is the capability of English among the staff.

Activities are fully inclusive and private, which is not true of most other properties in the Atacama. Excellent guides and private activities at Awasi mean that each day can be perfectly tailored to your interests.
